The NAI Board: 14 Privacy and Digital Advertising Sector All-Stars

The 2015 NAI Board of Directors recently met in New York to discuss policy priorities for the upcoming year.  We thought it was timely to take a closer look at these privacy and digital advertising sector experts who represent a diverse cross-section of NAI’s 100 plus member companies.

These leaders have excellent reputations and a long track record of accomplishments in the privacy and advertising sectors.  The Board provides guidance and works closely with NAI President Leigh Freund and the NAI staff.

2015 Update to the NAI Mobile Application Code

In 2013, NAI released its first Mobile Application Code in order to clarify how the principles of the 2013 NAI Code of Conduct, including Notice and User Control, applied in the growing mobile “Cross-App Advertising” ecosystem.

NAI Summit 2015 was a Huge Success

We are pleased to report that the 2015 NAI Summit was a great success!  The day-long event featured five panel discussions on timely and wide-ranging topics (See the full agenda here) as well as a keynote presentation from U.S. Department of Commerce General Counsel Kelly Welsh.

2015 Update to the NAI Code

In 2013, the NAI released the 2013 Code of Conduct, which significantly revised and updated the NAI's self-regulatory framework. 

Today, the NAI is releasing the 2015 update to the Code, which intends to clarify certain obligations present in the 2013 Code of Conduct, and the accompanying commentary, in response to questions received by the NAI staff from members.  I want to emphasize and be clear that the updated Code is not adding new substantive requirements for members.
