The First NAI Member Summit
It is difficult to imagine a more successful inaugural member summit than the one held on May 21, 2013 at NYC’s Glasshouses event center in Chelsea. As always, the credit goes to NAI's amazing member companies, particularly those that underwrote the costs of the event. Your generous support ensured that we had a first-class venue to serve as a beautiful backdrop for an afternoon of serious debate and robust discussion.
Throughout the day, which began with an eloquent keynote by FTC Commissioner Maureen Ohlhausen, we accomplished our key objectives for the Summit. We conducted our annual member meeting. We elected a new Board of Directors. NAI staff and members exchanged ideas and business cards. And most importantly, we heard from a strong cross-section of our membership on the most pressing topics of the day. Through dynamic and engaging panel discussions the participants at the Summit helped us set priorities for the upcoming year. We also reaffirmed our shared commitment to promote the interests and vitality of the most responsible third-party data companies in the market space through effective self-regulation. In the end, we all agreed that it's about consumer trust and explaining to consumers the value of what NAI members do and the high standards we follow. We look forward to delivering even more in the year ahead as well as at future NAI member events. For now, we hope you will enjoy the multi-media resources on this page.
