Few people are as passionate about self-regulation as I am. As the Executive Director of NAI, I get to see every day the commitment our member companies make to meet NAI's high standards. These companies -- third-party advertising networks, exchanges, and platforms -- deserve tremendous credit for their efforts but they don't always get it. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to discuss the value of self-regulation and the dedication of NAI members in a recent iMedia Connection blog “Self-Regulation: Win-Win-Win.” The efforts highlighted in this post help illustrate the tangible benefits of industry self-regulation for the entire ecosystem, and that includes not only third parties, but brands, advertisers, publishers, regulators, and consumers.
