Retargeting

Retargeting is the practice of collecting data about a user’s activity on one app or website for the purpose of delivering an advertisement based on that data on a different, unaffiliated app or website. Although it is a separate and distinct practice from Interest-Based Advertising and Cross-App Advertising, unless specified otherwise, requirements and obligations set forth under the Code for Interest-Based Advertising and Cross-App Advertising apply equally to Retargeting.
